Lanvin Embellished Jersey T-Shirt, $1,137 (Net-a-porter.com)
YOUR WAY:
I think would look really cute with faux flowers from the floral section, but plastic flowers work well, too! Or maybe even flower embellishments from the scrap booking department. Either way, you can position your flowers in a heart shape and adhere with fabric glue. Write out flat back rhinestones in a cute little message, and also adhere with fabric glue. I'd recommend placing a piece of cardboard inside the shirt while you do this, so that the glue doesn't bleed through the fabric and glue your shirt close!

And of course, any simple plain t-shirt would do the trick for this one. You'll spend a fraction of $1,137!

Valentino Kaleido Gem-Embellished Tote, $2,995 (Net-a-porter)

I'm seriously considering doing this for a future studs and pearls DIY. How cool would an ombre of gem stones look? Even with the number of gems used in this, it will still be MUCH cheaper than the original version. I'm thinking it's a great way to dress up an old vintage tote bag. Just get some embellishment/fabric glue involved, and you're good to go.

Rebecca Minkoff Corey Pants, $298 (ShopBop.com)
YOUR WAY:
Simple and sleek. Take a plain black pair of trousers and use fusible webbing tape and iron to adhere a thick strip of white grograin ribbon. You can also do this on the side, if you wish.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday!

Okay so the bag, totally reminded me of your purse with the painted/cut up cd's. You could totally do it for this, just cut them up smaller! Cheaper than gems, too :)

Great minds think alike...I was totally thinking about a couple days ago, haha. I was going to spray paint them with just copper paint, but it could be cool to do three different colors for a metallic ombret ype deal. Hmmm ideas.
