Most you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can easily lend a helping hand in a fun and creative way, thanks to Sharpie's "Ink it Pink" permanent markers. Simply upload your pink signature to Sharpie's website and they'll donate $1 to the City of Hope. Celebrities such as Grace Potter, Miley Cyrus and Tony Hawk haved taken part in this campaign - but you obviously don't have to be a celebrity to take part in this great cause!
"You can also support the Ink it Pink mission and City of Hope by picking up your favorite Pink Ribbon Sharpie products, including the NEW Sharpie Pink Ribbon Pen, Sharpie Pink Ribbon marker, the Sharpie Pink Ribbon highlighter! Sharpie has been a City of Hope partner since 2006 and in that time has donated more than $2 million to City of Hope’s lifesaving research and treatment programs by commiting to donate ten cents from the sale of each pink ribbon product."
I recently submitted mine, which you can view here.
I think this is an awesome idea, and even though there'sless than 2 weeks left of the month, please consider joining in on this. I know so many women of all ages read this blog, but whether you're male or female, you can't deny that breast cancer is an important topic. That's why I'm hoping to reach out to all of you and ask you to "Ink it Pink".
