I decided I need to start sharing readers' DIY's on here, rather than on just the Facebok fan page. I've been seeing some really good ones lately! I love it when readers take an S&P idea and add their own special twist. Perfect example of the kind of creativity I love.
Kathryn from Canada made this Knuckle Duster Eyeglass Case Clutch entirely her own.
Vivian from Garden Grove City, California made a bracelet inspired by the Gem & Chain Ring. Very innovative.
Claire in Kenya made her own Embroidery Thread Tassel Earrings. I like that she used a thinner thread, so it flowed differently than the embroidery thread I used. Her earrings practically shoulder dusters, which is pretty awesome.
On another note:
I get a lot of e-mails every day (not that I mind) - some of which ask the same questions (again, not that I mind) - so I think I'm going to do a Q&A of some sort. If I'm going to reply to questions, might as well share the answers here!
I'll answer them in either a post or a video; so with that said, ask away! DIY, fashion, or whatever-related questions are welcome. You can either leave a comment below, tweet me at @kirstengail or e-mail me at kirsten.studsandpearls@gmail.com - whatever works for you. Be sure to include your name and location.
Aaand on yet another note:
I have an awesome awesome awesome announcement to make within the next few weeks. April seems to be the month of exciting news for S&P!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend <3
