I'm the newest Fashion writer at About.com !

It's barely 1pm in New York and today has already been pretty awesome.

The first awesome thing was the CNN article that I mentioned in the previous post - which I knew was coming sometime this week.

The second awesome thing? I was JUST hired as one of About.com's newest Fashion writers! More specifically, the Accessories writer. There's multiple writers in the Style section, for shoes, Men's Fashion, etc....but I get to cover Accessories, which is my specialty. So it's a perfect fit!

After about 4 weeks and two different training stages, I had just finished all of my prep work for them yesterday - so I wasn't expecting to hear back from them for another few days.

...My head is spinning from excitement!
Just wanted to share the good news with everyone. <3
